IT WAS A THRILLER LAST NIGHT IN THE SWAMP, WHERE ROSEAU’S BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM ERASED A 6-POINT HALFTIME DEFICIT, AND CLAIMED A 2-POINT OVERTIME VICTORY OVER THE GATORS 73-71. NATHAN O’CONNOR’S 16 POINTS LED THE RAMS, WHILE JAKE TAGGERT AND DYLAN HEGGEDAL EACH HAD 19 FOR B-G-MR. GOODRIDGE-GRYLGA COULDN’T GET MUCH GOING OFFENSIVELY AS THEY FALL TO RED LAKE COUNTY 49-36. JAAKS SPILDE’S 9 POINTS WERE TOPS FOR THE FREEZE AS THEY ALSO STRUGGLE OFFENSIVLEY, FALLING AT HOME TO FOSSTON 55-36.

ROSEAU’S GIRLS WERE ABLE TO GET THEIR SUBS SOME VALUABLE TIME ON THE FLOOR IN A 91-19 WIN OVER WARROAD. KACIE BOROWICZ HAD A GAME HIGH 18 POINTS, WHILE EMMA BORIS ADDED 15, HANNAH MOONEY 7, SHARONDA BENDER SCORED 12, MASYNN JANICKE AND KAYLA BACHLEITNER EACH TALLIED 2 POINTS. ELSEWHERE STEPHEN-ARGYLE BEAT THE NORTHERN FREEZE 49-32, KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL BEAT CLIMAX/FISHER 60-49.

IN BOYS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY THROUGHOUT SECTION 8AA, MOORHEAD BEAT ROGERS 6-1 AND BEMDIJI BEAT ST. CLOUD TECH 4-2. ELSEWHERE, THIEF RIVER FALLS UPENDED LAKE OF THE WOODS 10-1.
