FORMER ROSEAU RAM NICK OLIVER HAS BEEN HIRED AS AN ASSISTANT COACH FOR THE ST CLOUD STATE MEN’S HOCKEY TEAM. OLIVER PLAYED COLLEGE HOCKEY AT ST CLOUD STATE, AND HAS BEEN AN ASSISTANT WITH SIOUX FALLS OF THE U.S. HOCKEY LEAGUE THE PAST THREE YEARS.



ROSEAU’S KATE WENSLOFF HAS BEEN SELECTED TO PLAY IN NEXT MONTH’S SENIOR ALL-STAR SOFTBALL GAME IN MANKATO. SHE’S THE FIFTH PLAYER IN RAMS’ PROGRAM HISTORY TO BE HONORED.
THE OTHERS WERE PAULA HOVDA, AMBER PEARSON OLSON, TRUDY EIDSMOE HOVDA AND SARAH RICE PICARD.



ROSEAU’S BOYS WON THEIR OWN GOLF INVITATIONAL SATURDAY AT OAK CREST, SHOOTING A 305 TEAM SCORE (FIVE SHOTS BETTER THAN 2ND PLACE EAST GRAND FORKS). GUS VATNSDAL LED THE RAMS WITH A 73.



ROSEAU’S GIRLS GOLFERS WERE 5TH AT A FRIDAY INVITATIONAL IN FERGUS FALLS; BEMIDJI WAS THE TEAM WINNER. THE RAMS’ GINA WENSLOFF SHOT 82 AND WAS 4TH INDIVIDUALLY.



ROSEAU’S BOYS WERE 2ND, BEHIND EAST GRAND FORKS, AT FRIDAY’S WEST MARSHALL TRACK MEET. RAMS WINNERS WERE JEREMIAH BENDER, RYDEN JACOBSON, AND GABE GRACZA IN THE HURDLES AND POLE VAULT.

THE RAMS’ SOPHIE HELGESON WON A PAIR OF DASHES ON THE GIRLS SIDE, WHERE RYLIE BJERKLIE WON THE HIGH JUMP AND KATIE BOROWICZ THE POLE VAULT.



B-G-MR’S SOFTBALL TEAM LOST 7-2 TO NORMAN COUNTY EAST IN SATURDAY’S CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AT THE GATOR CLASSIC TOURNAMENT. EARLIER, THE GATORS BLASTED EAST GRAND FORKS SACRED HEART 20-0 AND WEST MARSHALL 12-2. CARLY MEKASH HAD SEVEN HITS, INCLUDING A HOME RUN, IN THOSE TWO GAMES.
