THE CHARTIS CENTER FOR RURAL HEALTH HAS NAMED ROSEAU'S LIFECARE MEDICAL CENTER TO IT'S LIST OF TOP 100 CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITALS IN TEH UNITED STATES.

THERE ARE OVER 1,300 HOSPITALS THAT FIT THEIR CRITERIA.

THE CENTER USES AN ANYLETICS INDEX THAT GRADES HOSPITALS OVER 8 DIFFERENT CATEGORIES.



A PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER IS SUNDAY (9:30-1) AT THE BADGER COMMUNITY CENTER.
THE GREENBUSH/BADGER LIONS ARE SERVING, AND PROCEEDS GO TO FOOD SHELVES IN THE AREA.



THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, THIS WEEK, HEARD THAT A CENTER STREET WATER LEAK LAST WEEK WAS DUE TO A BROKEN PIPE UNDER THE ROSEAU RIVER.
CITY SUPERINTENDENT DAVID DROWN SAYS THAT WILL REQUIRE A MAJOR FIX WHEN THE WEATHER ALLOWS.



THE ROSEAU COUNTY BOARD, LAST WEEK, APPROVED A ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR PAYMENT TO THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY FOR A DEMOLITION LANDFILL VIOLATION; RELATED TO THE CLEANUP OF A PUBLIC HEALTH THREAT BUILDING IN WARROAD.
THE M.P.C.A. FINED THE COUNTY FOR NOT HAVING A LICENSED ASBESTOS INSPECTOR ON-SITE DURING THE DEMOLITION.



A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR GORDON S. PALMQUIST OF WARROAD WILL BE HELD SATURDAY (2 PM) AT THE WARROAD COMMUNITY CHURCH. VISITATION IS ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH. INTERMENT WILL BE AT A LATER DATE.
