A LEGAL SELF-HELP CLINIC IN ROSEAU IS GETTING A THIRD YEAR, THANKS TO A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE ROSEAU COUNTY LAW LIBRARY BOARD AND LEGAL SERVICES OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA. THAT CLINIC IS TO HELP PEOPLE REPRESENT THEMSELVES IN LEGAL DISPUTES. AN ATTORNEY IS AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE PERSONALIZED HELP FREE OF CHARGE. THAT CLINIC IS LOCATED IN THE ROSEAU COUNTY COURTHOUSE.



OUR REDEEMERS LUTHERAN CHURCH HAS AN ANNUAL SPRING FISH FRY PLANNED FOR FRIDAY, MARCH 23RD.



A ROSEAU EAGLES AUXILIARY MEETING SET FOR TONIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER.



Roseau’s Knowledge Bowl team will compete in a Regional Competition next Tuesday in Thief River Falls. The top 5 teams will advance to State. They took first place at a Sub-Regional last week.



The Roseau City Council meets this evening.



FISHING REGULATIONS FOR NORTHERN PIKE ON IN-LAND LAKES ARE BEING REVISED AHEAD OF THIS YEAR’S FISHING OPENER, DESIGNED TO RESTORE PIKE POPULATIONS FOR BETTER HARVEST OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE. THE NEW REGULATIONS DO NOT AFFECT BORDER WATERS.
