ROSEAU’S PAT ADRIAN AND WARROAD’S CHUCK LINDNER WERE 10TH AND 13TH AT A RECENT ARROWHEAD ULTRA BIKE RACE FROM INTERNATIONAL FALLS TO TOWER, MINNESOTA. TEMPERATURES DROPPED AS LOW AS THIRTY-THREE BELOW ZERO DURING THAT THREE DAY RACE.



MINNESOTA D.N.R. FISHERIES HAS PROMOTED BRETT NELSON TO REPLACE TOM HEINRICH IN BAUDETTE.
HEINRICH LEFT LAST MONTH FOR A FISHERIES SUPERVISOR POSITION AT LAKE MILLE LACS.

THE MOE LUTHERAN CHURCH MISSION AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE RECENTLY SENT A CHECK FOR MORE THAN EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS TO THE SUNSHINE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, WHICH IS BUILDING A RONALD McDONALD-TYPE HOUSE NEAR ALTRU HOSPITAL IN GRAND FORKS.

FORMER WARROAD RESIDENT THERESA GARBE WORKS FOR THE FOUNDATION. SHE SAYS A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WOULD USE THE SUNSHINE HOME WILL BE FROM ROSEAU COUNTY.
