THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL MEETS THIS EVENING.
THE COUNCIL IS EXPECTED TO APPROVE A 2018 LEVY AND BUDGET; THE CITY PROPERTY TAX LEVY HASN’T INCREASED IN A DECADE.



THE ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL BANDS HAVE THEIR HOLIDAY CONCERT THIS EVENING (7 PM) AT THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM. ADMISSION IS TWO DOLLARS.



WANNASKA SANTA DAY IS SATURDAY (11-2), WITH LUNCH SERVED BY THE WANNASKA COMMUNITY CENTER.



TODAY IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS TO THE NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WOMENS FUND, FOR GRANT DOLLARS TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS IN CELEBRATION OF WOMENS HISTORY MONTH IN MARCH.
THEY’LL TAKE APPLICATIONS FROM A TWELVE COUNTY SERVICE AREA, THAT INCLUDES ROSEAU COUNTY.



A MINNESOTA CANOLA SYMPOSIUM IS WEDNESDAY AT THE ROSEAU CITY CENTER. THE THEME OF THAT SYMPOSIUM IS NEW MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES TO REDUCE RISK AND INCREASE PROFIT.

FOUR VICTIMS WERE ROBBED AT KNIFE POINT AT TEH FOSSTON SCHOOL OVER THE WEEKEND. AUTHORITIES HAVE ARRESTED A 16-YEAR OLD IN THE INCIDENT. NO PHYSICAL INJURIES OCCURRED.



A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR WILLIAM J. ANDERSON OF BUADETTE WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7 AT 2:00 AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH IN BAUDETTE. VISITATION IS AN HOUR PRIOR. INTERMENT WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE. BILL ANDERSON WAS 87.
