ROSEAU’S GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TEAM IS STATE TOURNAMENT BOUND FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE YEAR 2000, AFTER BEATING PARK RAPIDS 3-1 SATURDAY NIGHT (IN FOSSTON) FOR THE SECTION 8AA TITLE. VICTORIA JOHNSON HAD 14 KILLS, AND LYVIA MOSER 20 ASSISTS FOR THE RAMS, WHO’LL TAKE ON NUMBER TWO SEED MARSHALL THURSDAY EVENING AT XCEL ENERGY CENTER IN ST PAUL.

CENTRAL LAKES COLLEGE OF BRAINERD IS IN THIS WEEKEND’S NATIONAL JUNIOR COLLEGE DIVISION THREE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT (AT ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA) AFTER BEATING NORTHLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE 3-0 SATURDAY. ROSEAU’S MORGAN MELBY HAD 20 ASSISTS FOR CENTRAL LAKES.
