YESTERDAY, ROSEAU BEAT PARKERS PRAIRIE 7-0 AND PARK RAPIDS 6-1 TO ADVANCE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST SECOND SEED PERHAM.

SINGLES PLAY BEGINS AFTER THE TEAM FINAL, AS TOP SEED JODI OSTROSKI MEETS A PLAYER FROM CROOKSTON; TENTH SEED BRIA DALE HAS A SINGLES PLAYER FROM PARKERS PRAIRIE.

DOUBLES PLAY STARTS THIS AFTERNOON AS SECOND SEED LAUREN JOHNSON AND KATE WENSLOFF MEET A TEAM FROM STAPLES-MOTLEY, WHILE FIFTH SEEDED KACIE BJERK AND HALEY OSTGAARD TANGLE WITH AN EAST GRAND FORKS DUO.




IN HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL LAST NIGHT, GRYGLA/GOODRIDGE FELL TO NEVIS 26-6. DYLAN MANDERUD SCORED THE LONE TOUCHDOWN FOR THE CHARGERS.




THE RAMS VOLLEYBALL TEAM DEFEATED LAKE OF THE WOODS 3-0 LAST NIGHT (25-12, 25-12, 25-17) AND CLAIMED THE NORTH BORDER CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP. VICTORIA JOHNSON HAD 17 KILLS AND 2 BLOCKS AND LIVIA MOSER ADDED 17 ASSISTS. MARISSA JOHNSON LED THE BEARS WITH 7 KILLS.

AFTER A FIRST SET STUMBLE, BADGER/GREENBUSH-MIDDLE RIVER DEFEATED WARROAD 3-1 (18-25, 25-12, 27-16, 25-15). CARLY MEKASH AND EMMIE JACOBSEN LED THE GATORS WITH A COMBINED 29 KILLS; WARROAD’S KATIE KOTOLOWSKI PICKED UP 20 KILLS FOR THE WARRIORS.

GOODRIDGE/GRYGLA EDGED THE NORTHERN FREEZE 3-2 (25-22, 25-21, 27-29, 22-25, 15-10).
