A ROSEAU PARKS AND RECREATION OPEN HOUSE IS TOMORROW EVENING (4-7 PM) AT THE RIVERVIEW GAZEBO PARK.

THE EVENT IS ALSO A FUNDRAISING PARTNERSHIP WITH ROSEAU COUNTY FORD.

A NEW SPLASH PAD IS EXPECTED TO BE DONE EARLY NEXT MONTH AT THE NEW SOUTH RIVERVIEW PARK, NEAR THE ROSEAU CITY CENTER, AS PART OF PHASE ONE AT THAT PARK.

A SKATE PARK COULD BE PART OF PHASE TWO, BUT THE TIMELINE FOR THAT WORK IS STILL UP IN THE AIR.




THE ROSEAU CITY COUNCIL, LAST WEEK, APPROVED ADVERTISING TO HIRE A PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER;
AFTER CHANNING KIMBLE TOOK A FULL-TIME JOB WITH THE WARROAD POLICE DEPARTMENT.




A SIXTH ANNUAL “ANOTHER MAN’S TREASURE” JUNK MARKET IS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AT THE ROSEAU COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.




ROSEAU COUNTY 4-H HAS A BACKYARD FUN ADVENTURE WEEK AFTERNOONS THIS WEEK (THROUGH THURSDAY) AT THE ROSEAU CITY PARK. THAT’S ONE OF A NUMBER OF SUMMER CAMP OFFERINGS BY THE FOUR-H PROGRAM.

OTHER CAMPS INCLUDE AN ARTS AND CRAFTS EXPLORATION DAY JUNE 22ND AT THE CITY PARK; AND FUN IN THE SUN AT ZIPPEL BAY STATE PARK AUGUST 9TH.

SCORECARDS ARE AVAILABLE AT LIFECARE PUBLIC HEALTH IN ROSEAU; LIFECARE REHAB SERVICES IN WARROAD; LIFECARE GREENBUSH MANOR; AND NORTHWEST COMMUNITY ACTION IN BADGER.
