SCOTT OLIVER WAS INDUCTED IN THE NATIONAL JUNIOR COLLEGE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION HOCKEY COACHES HALL OF FAME LAST WEEK (IN COLORADO SPRINGS).

OLIVER’S MINNESOTA-CROOKSTON TEAMS WON BACK-TO-BACK JUNIOR COLLEGE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 1993 AND 1994.

OLIVER’S 2007 ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL BOYS HOCKEY TEAM WON THE STATE CLASS “AA” TOURNAMENT.




WARROAD PLAYS IN THE STATE CLASS “AA” BASEBALL TOURNAMENT, STARTING THURSDAY IN ST. CLOUD. THE WARRIORS DREW THE NUMBER ONE SEED, MINNEHAHA ACADEMY, IN THE FIRST ROUND.

IT’S WARROAD’S FIRST TRIP TO THE STATE BASEBALL TOURNEY IN A DOZEN YEARS.




ROSEAU’S MADDIE JEROME WAS SECOND IN THE 300 METER HURDLES SATURDAY AT THE STATE CLASS “A” TRACK MEET, RUNNING A PERSONAL BEST TIME OF 44.69 SECONDS. SHE FINISHED THREE-TENTHS OF A SECOND BEHIND THE WINNER.

WARROAD’S KELBY GOULET WAS SIXTH IN THE 400 METER DASH.




IN SENIOR AMATEUR BASEBALL - THE BEMIDJI BLUE OX SWEPT A DOUBLEHEADER WITH ROSEAU, WINNING 4-0 AND 11-1.




ROSEAU’S AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL TEAM OPENS ITS SEASON TONIGHT AT HOME AGAINST STEPHEN-ARGYLE.
