IN SOFTBALL, TOP NORTH SEED BADGER/GREENBUSH-MIDDLE RIVER TRIES TO AVOID ELIMINATION IN SECTION 8A PLAY AS THEY MEET TOP SOUTH SEED NORMAN COUNTY EAST/ULEN-HITTERDAHL AT 2 PM.

THE WINNER PLAYS RED LAKE FALLS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP.


IN SECTION 8AA DILWORTH-GLYNDON-FELTON TANGLES WITH PARK RAPIDS WITH THE WINNER TO FACE EAST GRAND FORKS FOR THE “AA” TITLE.

THE WARRIORS OR THE RAMS WOULD THEN PLAY PARK RAPIDS OR EAST GRAND FORKS; THE WINNERS AT JIM KARN FIELD; THE LOSERS AT THE UNIVERISTY OF MINNESOTA-CROOKSTON AT 5:30 PM.


BADGER/GREENBUSH-MIDDLE RIVER CONTINUES PLAY IN SECTION 8A IN THIEF RIVER FALLS AGAINST WIN-E-MAC IN A LOSER-OUT GAME. THE WINNER WILL HAVE EITHER BLACKDUCK OR WEST MARSHALL.




THE GATORS GIRLS GOLF TEAM FINISHED SECOND BEHIND FERTILE-BELTRAMI AT THE SECTION 8A GOLF MEET AT THE BEMIDJI TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB YESTERDAY. KIANNA NOVACEK AND MAISEY YITALITO FINISHED FIVE-SIX FOR B-G-MR.

KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL WOULD CLAIM A FOURTH PLACE TEAM FINISH AS WELL.


ON THE BOYS SIDE, MAHNOMEN-WAUBUN AND FERTILE-BELTRAMI WOULD GO ONE-TWO, FOLLOWED BY B-G-MR AND THE NORTHERN FREEZE.

KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL’S HAYDEN HENNEN WOULD TAKE SIXTH PLACE HONORS, WHILE THE GATORS’ BLAKE DALLAGER ROUNDED OUT THE TOP TEN.
