THE ROSEAU SCHOOL BOARD MET LAST NIGHT.
AMONG THE BUSINESS DISCUSSED WERE RESIGNATION APPROVALS FROM BRITA COMSTOCK, MARY HITES, MARCIA ROBINSON, AS WELL AS AARON AND TAMMIE NELSON.

ALSO DISCUSSED WERE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS, WHICH WOULD FIND A STUDENT INELIGIBLE FOR ANY EXTRA-CURRICULAR OR CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES WITH A FAILING GRADE OR INCOMPLETE IN THEIR CLASSWORK.




A TOWN & COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP DINNER WILL BE HELD AT THE BADGER TWINS CAFE TOMORROW AT 6 PM.




THE ROSEAU WOMEN OF TODAY ARE HOSTING THEIR 8TH ANNUAL FATHER/DAUGHTER PROM ON SUNDAY FROM 1-4 PM AT THE ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL GYM. THE COST IS $5.00 PER FAMILY. THE GRAND MARCH IS SET FOR 2 PM.




A MINNESOTA HISTORY THEATRE MUSICAL CALLED “SISTERS OF SWING: THE STORY OF THE ANDREWS SISTERS” IS SUNDAY EVENING (7 PM) AT THE ROSEAU SCHOOL THEATRE.

IT’S PRESENTED BY THE ROSEAU AREA ARTS ASSOCIATION AND ROSEAU COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY.




ROSEAU COUNTY RETIRED TEACHERS MEET TUESDAY AFTERNOON (APRIL 25/ 2 PM) AT ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH IN WARROAD.




ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ARE AT MOE LUTHERAN CHURCH TODAY FOR A YOUTH FRONTIERS RETREAT.




ROSEAU HIGH SCHOOL PROM IS TOMORROW EVENING. GRAND MARCH IS AT 7:30 PM.




THE WANNASKA LIONS CLUB HAS A FUNDRAISER PANCAKE BREAKFAST SUNDAY (8-1) AT THE WANNASKA COMMUNITY CENTER, WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY CENTER ACTIVITIES.




A ROSEAU COUNTY HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION IS TOMORROW MORNING (Eight to Noon) AT THE WARROAD CITY SHOP.




GUARDIAN PEST CONTROL WILL BE FUMIGATING AT THE ROSEAU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THIS EVENING AFTER AMERICAN COCKROACHES WERE FOUND AT THE SCHOOL THIS WEEK.

LETTERS WERE SENT HOME TO PARENTS YESTERDAY.




ROSEAU THURSDAY NIGHT YOUTH BALL REGISTRATION ENDS MONDAY.

A POTATO DUMPLING SUPPER IS THIS EVENING (4-7 PM) AT THE BADGER COMMUNITY CENTER. PROCEEDS GO TO BADGER CREEK CHURCH AND GALILEE BIBLE CAMP.




THE BETHESDA LUTHERAN CHURCH IN SKIME IS HOSTING A RUMMAGE AND BAKE SALE ON SATURDAY, MAY 6 FROM 8 AM – 3 PM, SPONSORED BY THE BETHESDA LADIES AID.
