ROSEAU TRACK COMPETED AT THE TEN-TEAM BEMIDJI STATE BEAVER RELAYS YESTERDAY; MADDIE JEROME WON THE 60 METER HURDLES; McKAYLA CHRISTIANSON WAS FIRST IN THE DISCUS, AND SECOND IN THE SHOT PUT; KATIE BOROWICZ WON THE POLE VAULT, WHILE RAMS’ BOYS JOE MAGNUSSON, BRETT ERICKSON, GABE GRACZA AND JACOB LePARD ALL HAD SECONDS IN THEIR EVENTS.




HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL -
ROSEAU STARTED ITS SEASON WITH A 5-3 LOSS AT MAHNOMEN. HALLIE SORENSON AND JENNA BYFUGLIEN EACH HAD TWO HITS; RAMS PITCHER JENNICA JOHNSON HAD EIGHT STRIKEOUTS.

RED LAKE COUNTY CENTRAL SCORED TEN FIRST INNING RUNS AND WENT ON TO A 16-1 THRASHING OF THE NORTHERN FREEZE.

THIEF RIVER FALLS EDGED RED LAKE FALLS 14-13; KORA TORKELSON HOMERED FOR THE PROWLERS.




HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL -
THIEF RIVER FALLS SCORED THREE RUNS IN THE TOP OF THE 7TH INNING TO BEAT ROSEAU 5-2; THE RAMS HAD TIED THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 6TH INNING. OLIVER LEE HAD TWO HITS FOR ROSEAU.

BEAU WILMER AND KIP KNUTSON EACH HAD TWO HITS AS WARROAD GOT BY EAST GRAND FORKS 3-2.
