ROSEAU MEETS MOORHEAD TONIGHT (7 PM, IN THIEF RIVER FALLS) FOR THE SECTION 8AA BOYS HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP. THE TEAMS SPLIT TWO GAMES DURING THE REGULAR SEASON.




BOYS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL -
NELS BRAATEN’S 26 POINTS LED ROSEAU PAST LAKE OF THE WOODS 81-44; JACOB FISH HAD 24 FOR THE BEARS.

BLAINE KRIEL SCORED 20, AND DYLAN WALKER 19 POINTS AS GRYGLA-GOODRIDGE BEAT B-G-MR 70-55. DYLAN HEGGEDAL LED THE GATORS WITH 10.




GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL -
IN SECTION 8A PLAY-IN GAMES, WARREN TOPPED GRYGLA-GOODRIDGE 50-29; THE CHARGERS ASHLYN HENRICKSON SCORED 9.

SUBSECTION QUARTERFINAL GAMES ARE TOMORROW.

ROSEAU’S JENNA BYFUGLIEN, LINDSEY SANTL AND ELLICE MURPHY HAVE BEEN NAMED TO THE ALL-SECTION 8AA GIRLS HOCKEY TEAM; MURPHY IS AN HONORABLE MENTION CLASS “AA” ALL-STATER.

WARROAD’S MARIAH GARDNER WAS NAMED TO THE CLASS “A” ALL-STATE TEAM; AND WARRIORS TEAMMATES MADISON OELKERS AND KAITLYN KOTLOWSKI EARNED HONORABLE MENTION.
