personalities.
Beverly
(bev@wild102fm.com)
My profile? I’m 5’9,
blonde that likes long walks in the rain.. oh wait.. wrong profile…
besides everyone knows I’m a red-head!... Seriously, you want to
know something about me.. go to the source, pick up the phone, call
the studio or email me.. I’ll answer almost any question (as long as
my lawyer is present).
Where am I from? WISCONSIN… technically, I was born in Minneapolis,
raised in Siren, WI, where I graduated in the top twenty of my class
(only 19 kids in my class… ).
Nothing really unusual in my life, sorry. I went to school at the
University of MN - Twin Cities campus. I was going to teach high
school.. then realized.. I really don’t like kids… so, I started
going to concerts… the Met Center, First Avenue, Seventh Street
Entry, Civic Center, DECC, and even the good ol’ Orpheum.. which by
the way was where I caught Great White, TNT, and TWISTED SISTER….
After attending all those concerts, I figured I could do a pretty
good job at producing… so off I went to Denver, Colorado. I do have
a degree in Music and Video Business… but I walked into radio…
literally.. I walked into a station as part of a class assignment,
said that I would be in Monday, they needed my help… oh to be young
and full of confidence…
My first big break? It was the weekend of my birthday. I was tossed
into a studio with this very strange man. He smoked like a chimney,
was in a Catholic school uniform.. Can you guess who that was???
YES!!! I got tossed into the studio with Angus Young of AC/DC. “Just
interview him for a few minutes”… EXCUSE ME!! A few minutes.. my
gawd, do you not know who this is??? A FEW minutes??? Anyway.. 45
minutes later, Angus left the building and Tom Keiffer, Eric
Brittingham, Fred Coury, and Jeff LeBarr walked in.. those guys are
better known as CINDERELLA… whom was discovered via Jon Bon Jovi..
but that’s another story… from that moment on, I knew I wanted to be
in the broadcast studio and not the recording studio.. but part of
me.. misses the recording studio.
From that point on, for the last nearly 20 years, I’ve worked with
governors, senators, business owners, government officials,
psychics, rock bands, country artists, magicians, comediennes and
even a few animals.. the four legged kind.. not the two legged kind…
One of my first gigs was working with Johnny Elway, of the Denver
Broncos. I froze my tookas at every Bronco home game.. with seats on
the fifty yard line!!!

Witte (witte@wild102fm.com)
Let’s see… where do I begin??? I'm originally
from small town Iowa. I moved to the Twin Cities last year to attend
Brown College. While at Brown I began working Promotions for KXXR. Then
I moved up and began a producer position at Salem Communications. Now
i'm here at WiLD 102 Radio to help get you through your work week!!!
I decided to get into radio a few years back. It’s kind of a crazy
story! I always knew I wanted to work in the music industry, but I
wasn’t sure where. I play guitar but let’s face it, these days a band
would be too hard to get signed. So one night after a lot of searching,
an internet site popped up for Brown College. I instantly remembered
being a kid and taping DJ’s off the radio. (Yeah you read that right we
had cassette tapes in those days!!!) But anyway I used to play the tapes
back and think, wow… I wish I could be on the radio. I applied and it’s
been on since then!!!
My goal in radio is to connect with and help as many people as possible.
It’s amazing the healing power of music. I love how you can be having a
horrible day and all the sudden a song comes on the radio and you just
escape into it and all you troubles seem to wash away…

What's the best concert you have ever been to? – Oddly
enough it the first concert I ever went too. I saw Pearl Jam in 1997, in
East Troy, WI. It was so amazing 60,000 people all feeling that same
connection, that same emotion. Its because of that concert I knew music
was for me.
What do you do in your free time? – In my free time I
like to do all sorts of things. I love to relax and play guitar, or get
out and do some fishing. Other than that i'm a movie fanatic!
What is the best part of your job? – Being able to
connect with different types of people everyday. The best medicine in
life is music.
Words of wisdom for the kids? – Work hard and do good,
the rest will just fall into place.
